The family

Hi I haven't really used my blog much recently but a week off work can do wonders for catching up. I have just joined Stampin up for all the goodies on offer and had to have a little play with my kit. I have made this 12 x 12 scrap book page after reading Blue Jelly Stampin blog and challenge http://bluejellystampin.blogspot.com/2011/02/my-new-monthly-challenge.html. It's not a perfect work of art but I did enjoy doing it and have inspired my Daughter Amy who is 8 because now she wants to print off hundreds of photos of us to make her own scrapbook. There'll be no paper left in this house tomorrow...lol

I have also been painting pots with her this week and took my stampin up stamps (well Amy's actually, Cause she got some from a friends birthday party as a party bag gift (Super gift!!!)) If i have time when I get the plate back from the kiln next week I'll upload a photo...

Have been playing with my new Stampin Up hostess gift I love this bird it looks fluffed out and content sitting on it's spring branch....It's a stamp you just have to cut out therefore am entering it in the Your Next Stamp challenge http://ynschallenges.blogspot.com/ I know it's not YNS but sometimes you just don't know what to play with first right???

I made this card for another friend at work using some paper I bought at Harrogate ages ago. I also used my freinds stampin up butterfly punch to put some butterflies on sticks, thew idea was to make them look like they were flying behind tilda......hope you like XXX

I think I made it rain with mmy last post....i got up this morning and it was tanking down :-( I threw this card together in a rush for a freinds little (Or not so little now) girl... I love the colours they are so vibrant and the hedgehog sticker went so well.....

Hope you like my new box I made it after a stampin up workshop (making a similar box), the card is Stampin Up the so saffron colour so reminds me of sunshine it's time we had some don't you think after all that snow in the winter!!! The swirly pattern is a Stampin Up Roller but the tree in the middle is Kanban which I also love. I think i'll enter challenge 42 at http://pollycraftchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ summer colours....

I designed this card for my friend at work who was fifty at the end of april I am sure she still feels like the little girl on the front inside..... amongst her presents she got some perfume called confusion, a lookin annual, some dentu fix and bingo pens..... FAB

I bring these bottles home from work as work do not recycle glass and there's at least 100 a week so I bring them home to go in my glass bin but it seems such a shame so I used 3 to decorate for gifts.... I am sure i could do a better job but this was for 2 little boys so I thought blue was most apt..will have to use some more .....xx

I just got time to add a few things I've been making in what spare time.

I had a Stampin Up party last night it was fab and I got loads a stuff for being a hostess and I really enjoyed the girly company... I can't wait to get my new stash.....the only draw back of the party was my hubby was around and want to know what I'd bought so I had to fess up.

I have been very indoustious avoiding studying for an interview I have on monday!! arghhh

This box was full of nibbles and I re-cycled ...decorated it for a neices engagement card which didn't quite turn out a card but the box will keep the bow non flattened!!

The little envelope on the other side will have some money in it as I understand they are saving hard for a wedding!!! ooo can't wait have been to more funerals that weddings lately,oh no that means i'm getting the O word....

Pink n Grey lilly head

This card was inspired by three challecnges Firstly the sugar bowl sketch and distressing ....mine seems a bit neat ...will have to get the hang of that it,s the first time I've attampted it , luckily i'd just bought a distessing tool to have a play.http://sugarbowlblog.blogspot.com/

This card is for two challenges I have used DCWV glitter sweet stack, the gorgeous sei jolie chocolate and craftwork card papers.the stamp is Sarah Kay and the charm I got from the Great Nnorthern Papercraft show in Harrogate.
